I am thinking of adding maybe a group of 3 Aristochromis Christyi to my 6 ft tank in my signiture, The main part of my tank is my coleny of Frontosa i will not be keeping them all as the males start to mature i get rid of most of them keeping maybe 2-3 males in the group.

Do you think Aristochromis Christyi would be fine with them and the other fish?

How about the Fossachromis?

I have a male and femal of them already might try get extra 2 females.
If they are a decent size then they should be showing good color by now.

ah ok what would recomend?

That depends on the tank size.

If you want sturdy fish that, the buccochromis, champsochromis, tyrannochromis and rhampochromis are good families to chose from.

Keep in mind that these are all predatory fish and that they get quite large. And can all get quite aggressive

You could try a Fossorochromis Rostratus as well but that isn't a predator. more a sand sifter.

Keep in mind that for all the species listed(except the Buccochromis Nototaenia) you will need a tank with a minimum size of 2,5x0,7 meters
