large red oscar rescue.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah pretty much mate, Oscars but may rehome the smallest Oscar leaving 3, gt, arg, midas, suncat, gibby. giraffe cat and the mbu I'm swapping for the wyckii wont be staying well the cat may stay.....!-) gonna try an umbee as long as i can as I bought a 1" baby today for £8.95:D

selling the dovii in the grow out, all those extreme blue colours that sold him too me have gone, possibly move the generals into the 300 again and the jelly cat and tt eel once they are big enough.... obviously need to adjust the stock as they grow, I guess anwering your question no plan, just winging it as usual!-)

all I know is the big Oscar is staying and anything that messes with him will get sold, miss the Asian aro but he went to a better home and that's what counts I guess, checked in with the guy that had him this morning and he is doing great with the other 11 Asians in the pond!

I've got a 6-7" umbee that I've grown out but now I've got him to that size a don't want to risk the jardini smashing him up so I think a good home is needed (shame your miles away  ) I could give it a go and fish sit them but ive been there done it and know the usual outcome so sensible evz is kickin in lol
I bet yoyo is loving the aro community mate sounds like he couldn't have gone to a better home to be fair so I admire your hard decision there

I know i have resisted a beaut of a jardini for sale locally, it's really silver coloured.... its 7 inch but i know it will turn evil lol....
Fundamentally i want a comm but its a beauty of a jar, shame its likely to be worse than both the wyckii and yoyo...

Amazing fish and applaud your efforts to heal the oscars and having rescued them. I try to rescue fish I rescued a 12 inch Flowerhorn in a 20 gallon tank... I wasn't even buying that fish I came to buy his red devil pair and ending up leaving with the flowerhorn as well. I told him is that a temporary tank and he goes no. I got rid of all them and one of the male red devils after having him for 6 years gave him away. He became a mean old grump and was a tank basher. 200 gallons alone wasn't good enough for him lol he ended up going in a 2000 gallon pond.

It will be mate it'll take over the 300 so bye bye cichlids , on the plus side it might have lived with the wyckii but that's still a gamble lol
Your tank does look amazing fully stocked with cichlids though IMO
