i think rachel just remembered (thank you blackberry) that her daughter has a ballet recital tonight so the pics won't likely be up until tomorrow.
 
yah rach you better post pics, aslo does anyone know if anyone in california has some of these giants that can't cross state borders.
 
i think that now since it is after the ballet recital, rachel should tell us how it went..... and post snail pics. lol

no,i won't sell any. No they weren't the ones attacked by assassins, that was pomacea bridgesii (mystery snail). They are neat and hard to get around here so I am holding onto them.

The existence of Pomacea maculata is still being debated because not a single one has been found so far to exist in the aquarium trade. The largest on record that were ever found in the trade are the Pomacea insularum followed by P. canaliculata. Both are of canaliculata complex. It's still debated whether these two can crossbreed but possibly, they can due to many similarities between them. The ones you'll often encounter are canas.:)
