Zoo.... aquabid..... ebay.... anyone on here near you. Maybe set up a chain of drives willing to drive them to someone with a home. You could also freeze soda bottles filled with water. Then once frozen place in kiddie pool. I know its not the best but its an idea. I'm sure someone who lived close enough to help would.
 
I guess I wasn't clear, I don't me have enough set aside to buy a whole new setup. I mean have $300 or so ready to buy a stock tank or preformed pond if it comes down to it.
 
Used jacuzzi from craigslist. Or any other monstrosity that you can find.
Get constant water flow into the kiddie pools outside and it will keep the temp at a reasonable level. Hook a whole house filter kit up to the garden hose, kits are like $40, just a simple inline filter.

You're obviously an adult. Your house burns down and are forced to move in with your parents. After some thought they figure you have had a good life and have been well taken care of up until now.....
