Large tanks on wooden floors

doesn't mean it was a wise decision. It may have worked for you, but it won't work for everyone. 1000 lbs is a lot, I wouldn't push my luck.

true. id try to make sure the tank sat on cross beams and not along the beams. however i do not have them placed like this anymore, since i moved they are on concrete slabs.
 
heory it should be fine because a 72"x18"x20" is 2 ft longer than the 4 foot, the for foot is on 3 joists and the 6ft would be on 5, you could possibly do a 8fter on 6 joists because u have a 4ft on 3 joists...?

i'm buying another 300 gal rubbermaid that i'm going to keep in a room with a 150 in it, i would feel unsafe if it was a 300 gal, but the rubbermiad has a wide footprint so i feel safe, 6'x5'.
 
ok then i have diff idea, 72x19x20 and half being on concrete, thats would help... yeh??
