large unstable dat?

I have an 8.5" IT that is nearly always unstable. He is the 'boss' fish in his tank (180 gal) with perfect water conditions yet he only goes stable during a water change but as soon as I stop cleaning the gravel he fades back to unstable

No problemo man. Tikarman concern was probably bcoz there are so manyy threads on stablilizing indo datz wit all asking the same question and ends up wit all the same answers. i was actually guilty of that too but once i did some research i closed the thread and it was redundant when 10-20 different threads tell u the same thing.

well my point to both of u tikarman and vr6, is that sometimes people say the wrong things every now and then but this is a fun forum where everybody learn new things everyday if people make mistakes its up to the fellow members to help each other out. i love this forum man where people just help each other out like a big family anyway tikarman ur ST is awesome. and VR6, tikarman brought an important point up. If u want stability go for STs.

it has happened to me so many times and its depressing

you have a unstable tiger you sell it then its stable in someone else's tank

take this IT for example it used to belong to Ade he sold it to a shop because it was unstable i went into the shop a few weeks later and saw this unstable IT in the tank

i saw this unstable IT in the shop and was looking for a traditional stripe IT so grabbed it

look at it now this shows it doesn't matter if they are stable or unstable in the shop when you buy them

Don't you just hate it when it's pitch black in your tank but stable in another persons tank.
Rich, I traded it in for a thinbar....
I wouldn't sell a tiger cause it's unstable...I've had a few IT for years till they turn stable.
I always new that one had potential....He/she is a perfect IT

You know what I've never notice that most IT are 4 bars before. traditional IT= 4 bars, thanks for teaching me something new T1.
