Bass move into the shallows in the spring and early summer where the water is warmer, but once the water gets around 80 they move to deeper water...where it is cooler. They still move into the shallows for short periods of time, usually in the mornings and evenings, to feed. And I wouldnt say they enjoy it, but they can definately tolerate it for short periods.actually- both largemouth and south american cichlids enjoy well oxygenated water up to 98 degrees..... bass dislike 70 degree water temps- hence why they move to the shallows
