My LMB used to LOVE massive pellets. It was his favorite food. He would eat anything TBH.

starve them for a few days and they'll eat them sooner or later. My concern it that the bass might try to attack those pbass when they are hungry.
The bass are basically a little smaller in size.

small size, huge attitude. Honestly, LMB aren't meant to be with tankmates. They are killers when big. i had to get rid of my 6 incher because it attacked my 11 inch armatus.
bass are best solo. They will try to eat any fish that can fit in it's mouth. If not, they will still attack tankmates.
in short... yes.
There has been instance where cohabs are successful but LMB are unpredictable. One day they can be peaceful, the other he might go on a rampage. It could be painful to watch. Just my experience.
IME, bass are very aggressive eaters and when they know your're feeding them will turn into feeding machines. I've had bass that will take pellets on the first try.
