Largemouth Bass - Question about feeding the little ones.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
First off don't put one hundred feeder's in your tank as mention by someone above.. your tank will fowl instantly .. give them some time to ajust to you and your tank .. the water in your tank my be a little differant then what the LMB were use to in the hatchery .. fish in the wild go for up to 2 week's with no food so relax and give them some time . here's a pic of my native tressure it's a GILL but it's still a native tressure . he eat's pellet's , cichlid stick's aswell as krill from my hand.. :D

They can go alot longer than 2 weeks without food. In the wild 2 weeks is nothing!

They will eat anything small enough and love brinew shrimp, ghost shrinp, small crickets, trout worms. etc.

They'll eventually eat pellets. Mine started with blood wurms.

Just to keep everyone up to date. Time seemed to be the problem. They needed to get comfortable in my tank. Now that they are this is what they're eating:

Live Guppies and Gold Fish
Chopped up Nightcrawlers (live)
Sinking Shrimp Pellets
Flake Food (Yes, it's true)

Thank you!:headbang2
