Due to the high volume of visitors at the Ga Aquarium, you have to make an appointment to visit.
The Chattanooga Aquarium is still my favorite.

We have people that have just started keeping fish, and others that have been keeping fish most of their lives. This is a community of fish enthusiasts, not fish nazis.
WyldFya said:Actually that one is the Georgia Aquarium. I forget... I know I am a terrible person for forgetting such an important fact, and correct me if I am way off but 6,000,000 gallons and 100,000 fish including 2 whale sharks.

Learn something new everyday. Didn't even know about the aquarium in japan. How big are the Whale sharks there, and the tank size. I didn't even notice the mantas in the picture... well that 1 for the opponent and 0 for me in the observation category.Zoodiver said:The one pictured is Japan. Georgia doesn't have mantas. You're right on the size: 6.1 million gallons. You'd never believe me if I told you about the filter set up!
I've been behind the scenes at G.A. though (perks of being a professional aquarist).
Georgia's pair of male whale sharks are both about 14' at this point. Much smaller than the ones on Japan.
