Largest GLASS tank?

I was in a local fish store today and they had a MASSIVE new full glass saltwater tank. I asked one of the workers about the size and they said with filtration it was over 850gal. It was roughly 8'x3.5'x4' It was INSANE.


It was by FAR the biggest glass tank I have ever seen.


So whats the largest full glass tank you have ever seen.

P.S. next time i'm there ill get pics.

The one I have been working on is 10x3x3...and it's in my basement. :)
 
a 12x3x3.5 in a nursing home

Which LFS in O.C. ??
 
There are of course, many custom glass aquariums to be found in the older public aquaria such as the Boston Aquarium, the Miami Seaquarium, Chicago's Shedd Aquarium, or even the National Aquarium. Some are tens of thousands of gallons.

Custom Aquaria can be site-constructed in almost any size, whereas the largest standard aquarium from most manufacturers is 210 gallons. But places like glasscages.com can build to order up to about 700 gallons in glass, or 1000 gallons in acrylic, before you crossover the point where it becomes too heavy to easily move, and you need to switch to site construction.
 
the largest tank being made is the new Perfecto 300 gallon 72x36x27 in production with built in cornerflows. I have yet to see one in person. I do not have the room in the shop to sell. I would like to know the weight on the thing though.
