Here you go Delgado. Hopefully, next time you won't call my posts bs. I'm sorry if I seem kinda rude...but I took offense to your reply.

BTW, I'm posting this as a thread instead of a personal message cause it seems like others wanna see it too.

Tank is a standard 65G... 48x18x18
When fully stretched out, the fish takes up approximately half the length. Extremely girthy and nice colouration... pics don't really do it justice... you guys should see the crowd that usually gathers around it's tank!

NOTE: It's NOT my fish. Reason for it being in this tiny tank is the owner has left the country for a trip and the fish is at the lfs for babysitting purpose. The store does not have any running tanks larger than the 65s. THe owner should be back in a couple days and the aro will be back in it's original home of which I do not know the size of. According to the owner, the fish is about 10 yrs old.

MONSTER!!!

Always nice to see a big jar! :D

You sure it's 24" ... ? I'm not trying to pick a fight (like someone else ;)) but it looks around the same as mine and I think mine is around 18-20"

... although I'm terrible at the guestimate / measure process! :grinno:

Anyway ... cool fish!

largest jardini i've ever seen was about 24 inches... it was a friggin tank!!! was also told it was roughly 10 years old. All I can say is that it definitely needs a 6x2x2

whats BS is that that fish needs a 180, it should be in a larger tank than that

a 24'' silver i could understand since it doesnt utilize the full width, but a jardini is not as flexible and is unsuited to a tank with the width as long as the fish is.

but seeing this fish fish in a pathetic 65 makes a 180 seem so much more roomier doesnt it? :D

the idiot should have left the fish in its origional tank (my gawd i hope its alot bigger) if he is only to be gone a short period of time, the fish could easily substain itself.
