What I think del means is that all aros are relatively flexible compared to most other fish, but by his observation (including the fact that he has owned both fish) the silver is a little more flexible..

Considering Silvers and Blacks can turn around in a space 1/3 there lenght, It is really a simple observation

This weekend I went to one of my LFS they had a 20" plus jar in a 4 foot wave shaped tank. One end was about 16" deep and the opposite end was about 24". The Jar was definitly cramped, but I was surprised that he could manuver quite well in that tank. Hopefully he'll get bought and put into a monster tank.
