Hey everyone!

New to the site. What is the largest Pom Pom/Reticulated Knife that you have seen in captivity?

Also, does anyone have any good suggestions for tankmates? The initial tank is going to be a 55 G grow out, as this guy is only about 4-5 inches long right now.

I just got this one today, and he is surprisingly active? Even more active than most fish that I take in on their first days? He is all over the tank, though he did spend some time under a few driftwood ledges. I have my moon lighting on right now, and that seems to be okay with him.

Though not a retic,I have never seen one other than photos,my pom pom is sbout fifteen inches.Would you mind sharing where you got yours from?

My LFS. I've been looking for a ghost knife for a while, but when I saw this guy, I couldn't pass him up. $40. Not sure what the asking price is on them, but it seemed reasonable for his size and beauty.

The price does not seem to be too bad considering the rarity of pom poms, retic or not. What is the name of the store and where is it located?

The Aquarium and Fish Store. Brandon, FL. They are good people.
Thank you.I might have to contact them and see if they can't ship me one.

Good luck! I haven't been able to see this pom pom in the full light for long, but it does look like he has the spotting. I'll have to take pictures once he has settled in, since I don't want to stress him out.

Looking forward to seeing photos.
