Hello, I'm currently feeding my large Trimac, Jag and Dovii Hikari Massivore Delight. They love them and gobble them up. What is a pellet similar in size that has more nutritional value? I have Northfin large sinking pellets now but they are tiny compared to the massivore. Is there a pellet same size or larger than massivore that has the good nutritional value of NLS or Northfin? I've searched both sites and can't seem to find any. Thank in advance for advice!

I don't feed Hikari so I'm not sure what size the pellet is. But Northfin has a large carnivore pellet, its 10mm I believe. I feed them to my crayfish.

However, large isn't always the best. Using a smaller sized pellet that they don't really chew is actually better. Much less waste. You just need to feed more pellets than you would a larger sized pellet.

And smaller pellets from NLS or Northfin is a way better option than feeding Hikari.

can you elaborate why you think Hikari is not a as good option? Asking because I too wonder what is better for my fish.

IMO it's a garbage food. The ingredients are seriously sub par, and when there are readily available options out there that are actually GOOD QUALITY foods - NLS and Northfin, Fluval Bug Bites, etc. - I see no reason that anyone would choose to feed Hikari.
