Speaking of LMB, I had my LMB eat my entire native collection. Got it at 2", and at 6" it ate the last fish, a 4" perch. You could see the head almost protruding out the backside with the tail still hanging out of it's mouth.
the biggest loss for me would be a 6" peacock cichlid that attempted to eat a 2.5" yellow lab. it got stuck in its mouth and i had to pull it out. the yellow died soon after.
i watched a video of a paroon shark eating a similar sized paroon shark, and on the same video a clown knife eaten by a crayfish (yabbie)
as for fish eating bigger or other fish he's not suposed too. well i have a 4" blood parrot eat a huge 7" giant dino. also in the same siting he ate 3 other big molly's. recently i had a 7" common pleco eat a 6" or 7" birchir. that was sick. found half the body in the filter. as for anything else. i now own a 5" or 6" needle nose fish. so time will tell what he trys to put in his mouth. so far not much. even feeders
I have yet to have anythig eaten. thankfully. but that's what sucks about having the bigger fish b/c if yo don't have a growout tank then you have to try and find other large fish to put in for tankmates that can't get eaten
16 inch shovelnose ate my 5 inch irredescent shark, 12 inch arrowana (that really pissed me off) and 2 parrot fish about 4 inches. The last parrot did him in and found him floating at the top.
