Ya, do what I said on my previous post and you will be set!I had what you had ones and I just fed the fish a little less than what they can eat and took out my lucky bamboo plant.They were eating the plant and lots of times its jut your plants.

For now I'm going to remove my plants from it and clean out the filter and continue WC's and after a few weeks if it persists I may drain it or just put up with it since the fish seem to be ok

If you get a neon gourami (dwarf gourami) they with probably eat all of the larva and then you just have to wait for the current gnats to die!
Are their any other fish that will do the same thing? I hear dwarf gouramis are aggressive

Other gouramis like pink kissing gouramis and alpine gouramis with get em.Mosquito fish are awesome and they will do great.They will even eat the bugs if the land on the water!I don't know where you herd they were aggressive but there not.My cichlids at one (it didnt even fish back) and I have one with some neon tetras.
Here is a neon dwarf gourami with some little neons.Also the 2nd pic is a male neon and 3rd is female.
I've always heard they have a temper but I guess not! I'll have to pick one up! Thanks!

Archer fish would also be awesome for that job (but sadly they're brackish).They shoot water streams out of there mouth at bugs and glowing things actuate from up to about 15 feet away!
