That pinima made my jaw drop! I'll side with everyone in this thread and say don't go. Don't let the haters chase you away from something you're passionate about. Lord knows where I'd be without MFK and a medium to speak my mind on something I'm passionate about. I'd be calling the woman and friends looking to talk cichla and get nothing but raised eye brows and a look of confusion haha.

Said very well bro and I appriciate the word's of encouragement from everyone. But no one is running me off.

This is much needed for myself. I made this thread to celebrate my success as well as all of you who made this possiable for me. I am not gone from the hobby just taking a back seat here in the Cichla fourm. I have other interest and personal thing's in life that made this break a neceassary leave of absence from the Cichla forum. My passion for Cichla is getting me into trouble and I reckognize this and need to take a step back for a while. There are a lot of new comers like Chatika and Channa who are moving the hobby forward with vigor. Just because I don't post here anymore isn't going to make this section loose any of it's glamour. There are plenty of members here who are sharing there experince's now. So the movement will move forward just fine I am just stepping to the side for a while.

Thanks everyone for sharing with me your beautiful knowledge and collection's. I will still be around. Just less visable. And for those of you who want to know why I did it this way? I did it for the love of the Cichla.
No need to keep drama going on in such a great place to be. There is a lot to learn here and more information to come for sure. More personal experience's to share. Now is just the time for those that came after me and there will be more to come after them. The movement is strong and Cichla will be forever! CREAM.


I do want to say we are very passionate about our beloved Cichla. That being said I am being the bigger man her no name calling no pointing fingers just praise for the love of the Cichla. All has been squashed and there are no hard feeling's between anyone here. All has been forgiving. This is 1 family under Cichla! And let's not forget that.

I would love to see those Pinima but I cant seem to get the video to play.I kinda felt like falling back a little not too long ago when I asked a question and it stirred a bit of a shtstorm but I really enjoy this forum so that was the end of that.While I am aware of what was said during the other post I wont go into telling you to how to deal with "haters"because I dont know the full story so I wont use labels.You have other things to devote your time to as youhave stated so I will just say do you,good luck in what you do and when the time comes,welcome back.

For sure and thanks. It's been a long time coming. I wanted this break in DEC. but we all know what happened all of these beautiful Cichla starting coming in. Some of the controversey as of late have prompt this decission but it was not the cause. As many of you know I have twin son's that were born 5 month's ago so there 1 reason for the break. I have a 13yr old starting High School next year so reason# 2 and of course for those of you that know my daughter's trial starts in a few week's. So I need my mind to be other places right now. I didn't want to just disapear so I figured we would do it this way! Why all the long face's it's a celebration!


Other new and up and coming Cichla keeper's Molicious, Tainted Glory, Jcardonia and many more it was always Cichla first then the rest. I just need to concentrait on the rest for a while to keep my Cichla Dreams alive. I keep hearing about what is most important. To me and at the end of the day that is my motivation right now. As in life you have to handle your buisness or all will fail. Don't worry Silverdragon, R1, Boogwood Bruce,
Scatacepholus and all the other great member's here Venom, will be here to make this place the only place to be here on MFK.

HCR you DM and everyone else that spent crazy money into there setups and bass are a big part of the reason i got into the game...It inspired me to get into the hobby even more. Come on how many people here can say they never watched one of DM videos on you tube? Stuff like that is what started it for me. R1 ridah hes another one whos bass i like seeing. Its sad to here some of the people who made cichla keeping become what it is today leaving. Just remember guys there will always be haters and thats just the way life is.
