PZQ definitely does not treat Costia.
You also need to regularly perform a low range total chlorine test if you're relying on carbon to remove chlorine (and especially chloramine).

Figured I would update this. Sunday morning I awoke to a main tank pump stopping and a steady creep of ammonia (which feeds her hospital tank). After 12 hours of panic and jimmy rigging some pumps I figured I would throw a worm in her tank. She ate it.. has eate
Happy to report. This ray out of no where has decided to eat and hopefully live
Well this was a turn for either better or worse. This morning the tank was clear and then about an hour later I could barely see the ray. With bubbles and film all over. Ammonia is barely anything so I can’t help but feel she just **** out whatever has been bothering her. Hopefully!
