I was slightly late to work today. Fortunately, I live in the only county in the nation where one out of every three trucks has a chainsaw on board
Only one out of three? What are the other two-thirds thinking?
We were up in the hills once when we came across a downed tree blocking the way home. I didn't have a saw with me and the only other way out was an extra 60-70 miles (not to mention there were probably downed trees that way as well). I ended up attaching a tow-rope to the top and skidding the tree so that it lay lengthwise and we could drive around it. It's always an adventure when you live in the woods!
