The difference being?
I only ask because i just bough a 4-5" nile perch and the pattern looks exactly like that does this mean its a royal? I only paid 90 for it

I think what rob means is. the royals will only grow to about 3 feet not the huge 300lb. 5ft monters. and the royals will keep there juvie patterning for life not like the regulars that will lose the pattern before they usually hit 20"

but I could be wrong.
