They look great. Hope they all get along in the future.

This too is what I always wanted to do. Still debating a comm or just 1.

Thank you- one aro or a community is an easy but personal choice- you just have to figure out if the 1/2 hour of tranquility you get each month is worth being stressed out the other 30 days, 23 1/2 hours each month- simple as that-

and to prove my point, heres an update just for you bomber- this thread is 5 or 6 weeks old, and in that time I put the silver back into the pond, aquired another silver with bad eyes( a mere 22" long) and put him in the pond with the big one, the two of them either get along great or are just too blind to see each other, either way its calm out there-
next, my favorite aro, a 20" black, jumped, got under the weighted lid, landed in the unreachable area behind the tank, and slowly died in the middle of the night while I struggled to keep him wet and get him out, but to no avail-
up next I sold my juvenile lei, not a earth shattering event, but wait, the sale of the lei freed my growout, so a friend owed me some money and offered an identical juvie lei in its place, I happily accepted,to wake up and find him dead the next morning- I dunno-
a day or two later, I sold an aro to a friend of mine, this one was a 17" black that Ive had since it was still black, but as luck would have it, 7 days later, due to compatibility problems, I got it back-
and now picture time! first the bad news...

and now two of my dwindling community...

so bomber, I think for your own sanity, you should enjoy your single arowana, and his well covered tank- and by well covered, I mean covered well enough that if you were in the tank, you couldnt get yourself out

nice aro comm

Nice dragon community Jim! How you been bro? Bryan told me about you planning on getting a green for a sweet deal. Did you end up picking it up? I tried grabbing it before you had the chance but Bryan wouldn't let me know where :nilly:

thanks B- yeah it would be nice to get a green arowana, but I think thats an asian type arowana and those arent legal in california- but I have seen some XB and HB jardinis online lately, those are legal because they come from italy, I think

Sweet comm matey ;) i have the chance of a green and a banjar red for £400, its a nice round trip of 18hrs worth of driving, roughly 7-800miles but i think its worth it if all goes well. Im trying to do the same as you :) great work

thanks Col- that is a sweet deal, I did the conversion and its $263, I would take the trip too, but I hope you have other aros to go in there too, because 2 is really tough to pull off
