Caught this pair this afternoon. The male managed to snag my mouse clicking finger while i was getting the hooks off its mouth. It managed to stick the finger and tore it out when it flopped around the grass. Will have to learn to click the mouse with one of the other fingers for a while.
These are #35 and #36 for the year including 11 that are at least 17 inches.

Sweet! How's that new lure working? Is that Rapala's new X-Rap Shad Line? They worked pretty well down there. I was able to only buy one when I was down there and the very first fish I hooked on it managed to make away with my lure

It's working great. Can't find the X-Rap Shad locally. I looked for it knowing that you guys were having much success with it. All I could find were these glass and the deep running shad from the old Rapala line.
The lure from the old line works very well with spawning pairs as well as pairs with free swimming fries. Occasionally LMBs and Mayans grabs it when blind casting. The thing I like about them is they are easy to get off the fish for catch and release. I use them when I'm doing catch and release and still rely on the Mirros when I'm after fish for keeping.
