The biggest so far was 22 inches, caught in the Summer of 2001. I've caught many that were over 20 inches but still looking to catch a 2 footer. My best shot is probably to grow one in my tanks.:D

Caught two female peas and a male today off my favorite beach.

here's a pic of a pair, the male is about 14", and is #76 while the female is around 13 inches and is # 77.

Also caught a monster female measuring 17+ inches. The biggest female caught this year and was released. That monsters is depicted in my sticky thread in the PB section.

Wow, those are great Juan. Do you ever use plastic worms for PBAss?

Yes, I've used black plastic worms on P. Bass. In fact, they let me discover P. Bass in our community lake. It's much easier to catch them with lures that have two or three treble hooks.

There's should be a pic in this thread of some Peas caught on a plastic worm.

If and when you do, bring your gear for gar and your transporter if you're looking to bring home some monster Peas. Might let you catch some Pacus, too.

Haven't caught any Pacus yet. Haven't really tried. Need lots of time to catch them. However, I know where a school of them hang out. They're at least 2 feet each.;)
