Caught this breeding pair today. Male is around 14 inch and the Female is about 12 inch. Perfect size to keep in tanks. Sorry for the blurry pics. Bought the tank used from a local importer that just replaced all their tanks in one of their warehouses. This one has heavy calcium deposits on the glass walls that won't come off.

What are you doin with them :D

There are some nice fish there!
Escpecially the first one, I guess it is illegal to return them?
I know that they were introduced on purpose to eat the foreign fish in florida but didn't tey eat the natives aswell?

Would be interested to know.

It's not illegal to return them. They are classified as sports fish over here and it's encouraged actually to release them when caught.

They will eat indisciminately any fish that will fit in their mouths. I've seen them devour baby ducks swimming in the water.

Some of my catches ends up on the diinner table, mine or a friend's. Most of them are released and some are caught on request to fill their tanks.

Juan,

Myself and a couple of friends are going to make a trip to S. Florida from Central florida in a couple of weeks. Do you think you may be able to meet up with us for some fishing?

We would like to get into some good spots and could use the help.

PM me if you'd be interested in meeting up with us for a day of fishing!

Thanks,

Samps

P.S. NICE CATCHES MAN!!!

PM sent.
