Fish Heaven
These are pictures from my latest trip and collection, which I just returned from. It was an eye opener and life changing experience. I would encourage all those who have not been outside of this country to at least try and visit a few before they get too old. We had an 85 year old guy on our trip that did just marvelous in the jungle. We ate wild fish, bathed in the river with piranhas and caimans over 10 feet long.

Hope you all have Facebook., if not, I'll post some pictures here later.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing :)

Also want to see how many people would be interested in going on a trip like this to collect. This trip is unlike the Uruguay or Peru trips which have been running for some time, and smoother. This is more frontier work, stepping on land that is rarely traveled by outsiders. The amount of fish you can catch in one week is much more than you can fit in your boxes for export. We are working on having the local community building some fish holding pens, and also working with the government to get permits to export on cargo flights, easing the trouble of bringing fish back by suitcase.

There are still pictures of this trip that I have not shared with the public yet, including some other new species of fish that were discovered on this trip. P3270620.JPGP3280624.JPG
