Funny you'd mention that, Sergio. My Yasuhikotakia modesta challenged two others on a duel and he winded up with several scratches and a deep graze mark on the caudal peduncle. So much for a duel. He never gave up at all and after an hour, I went back and he's still clashing despite his graze marks. The others gave up in the end with very little damage compared to him.:WHOA:

can u explain to me why loaches are so exspensive? they seem fairly common but still fetch a hgh price

Which species of loach and the size in particular are you looking for? Large clown loaches (6 inches and over) do command a high price because you don't see everyday large clowns sold around due to their slow growth compared to ones that are 2-3 inches in length but they do grow at a fast pace until they reach 5-6 inches mark wherein the growth rate does slow down.

Slow growth rate + high mortality = high price
