LCD lasts longer. Plasma looks better. Make your choice.

I went through this too, I went with LCD , the picture in HD looks great, much better than a standard television so the picture quality does not even come into play, LCD looks great , I see no difference from Plasma. I also didnt think "higher" picture quality that I couldn't even see was worth dropping the cash on again in a couple years when the plasma craps out as I hear they do. I vote LCD

scared of it failing, get an extended warranty.. easy
