Leaking tank please help

If this turns out that it was worth it to do this and you are willing to do it again I'm betting you will see a lot of free tanks in your future.

Thank you. I was trying to reply to my comment and tag Kolton13 Kolton13 but for some reason my phone would just freeze up or not include the post and just tag him in a comment
 
I think I messed up…. Didn’t think of it when I did it but I used duct tape to tape the tank together while the silicone cured. Just removed the tape and there’s residue from it. Should i scrape it all of like I did with the silicone residue. I don’t want it to leech into the water and poison it. Also I still haven’t done a leak test yet, that will be tomorrow

Yes scrape and wipe down with a bit of acetone if needed. I would wait until saturday you really need 72 hours on those seals.
