Have a little pet shop here in town was asking about seeing if they could order me a fish. I noticed that they sell rtc for for 6.75. So I started asking about them and they said it would be a great choice to go with the fish I was asking about and that was a gulper I said really apparently they only get a few inches and a 55 gal tank will be just fine for them. Good to know

Don't rtcs get rather large? Or Am I thinking of something else?

I've been in a few shops that have this attitude towards selling fish , they have no care for the well being of the fish and only care about the money

It wouldn't be as big of a problem if people actually done their reaserch properly.

Oscar111213, there's a lot of info out there on rtcs, the last person you should be listening to is the guy making a profit from them.. :)

Ooh I ain't gonna get one I laughed when they told me that I told them and showed them a picture he said oh I don't think that will work

I know how big they get. I just think it's crazy That you can't buy a pleco or Oscar for that but a tsn or rtc they basically give away

True true , but people who are first getting into the hobby /passion presume the best place to ask advice is the LFS , and it can be if your near a good one , information is easy to reach though especially having sites like mfk online

Wish rtc's sold for that price here. The only LFS around that I've seen carry them want $60-75 for a 3-5" fish
