Least Favorite Fish

I’m not a big fan of neon’s, I can respect them for their cool color and their group think, but for some reason I’m just not that drawn to them. That said.... I actually have a few that my mom requested for Mothers day. And I must say that my banjo cat is the most boring fish that I have ever owned, you can barely tell he is alive. And I would like to defend mollies, I like them and I have a group that came from a single mommy molly that are black with silver gills, they look really cool and are super friendly.

My mollys nibble my fingers CONSTANTLY whenever Ifeed them, they will bite the fingers more than the food. They also nibble my arm hairs while I clean the tank, so do my goldfish.

I dont understand why you guys hate goldfish so much. They are the higher lesser of four evils (1-Dyeing, 2-Genetic Modifiying, 3-Unnatural Hybridizing, 4-Selective Breeding).

If you arent interested in bulging eyes or weird headgrowths, The Shubunkin(Calico)/Common(Metallic)Goldfish is certainly your kind of fish, being able to live for 20 years+ with good health, as well as being pond fish. Howeer, they require 20 gallons, EACH.

I've had the honor of watching BOTH types of fish get slain in my tanks, though

200g tank with a 9" Texas cichlid, and my dad went out and follishly bought a 2" $20 yellow-dyed parrot. The texas said "Oh, volleyball!". My dad cursed and snarled, I applauded and told him never to go near my ****ing tanks ever again.

200g tank with various 1"-4" juvenile cichlids, both americans and africans. I throw in a $5 wal-mart oranda goldfish. That fat ugly goldfish got torn apart in a most spectacular fashion within just 20 minutes. And then, I took the goldfish's shredded remains back to wal-mart and got a refund. I actually made a very-detailed thread on this issue on another forum, ill get around to looking for it when I get a chance.

I agree with you. I don't understand why people on this forum hate goldfish. They are totally awesome, hardy, and they have great personalities. One of mine started out orange and black, then orange, and now it's pure white!

plecos because they are **** factories.... to me o's get ugly... betta fish...danios tetras tattoe fish.... parrots are ugly...snakeheads anything that isnt pleasent to watch or isnt going to do well in captivity...

i have a dislike for bettas (sorry for those who love them) they seem to have a attatude to them and look at you as if to say"i can look at you bad and you cant do anything", also mine stole food from my other fish, ha it showed him when i put in with it 2 6inch glass catfish

bubble eye goldfish, those goldfish with the heads that make them look like they have their brains coming out of their head, and other goldies like that. piranhas are probably my next least favourite. boring, skittish, personality-less, and little colour. whats to like?

dyed fish also discust me, but i hate the other 2 more.

i don't like betta's because they think they are the cats meow...another is piranhas i am with you 100% connor0729, they have no color and are afraid of everything except of goldfish...and the last fihs that i hate are giant gourami's i mean they are beautiful fish and i love their personallity but they have the ugliest faces i just cant stand it.
