I was asking in a very sarcastic and smart a** way for you to be more particular.....some of the not so experienced might get little seeds planted in thier heads and might not ever see the beauty that these guys are capable of. Just dont' take offense brotha :p NO harm meant

I don't! This is just a healthy sort of discussion but i didn't ment to hurt you, ha ha.

the comment from the site:
Their weird glowing green color makes them look like they've been swimming in a nuclear plant's spent fuel pond.

But the zebra fish on sale in Taipei shops have an even stranger background: They're the latest in genetically modified fish, and their bodies contain DNA from jellyfish, which makes them shimmer in the dark.

Shopkeepers call them “Night Pearls.” Some have nicknamed them “Frankenfish.” Their makers at the Taipei-based Taikong Corp. use the less catchy name of “TK-1″ and say they are the world's first genetically engineered fluorescent fish.

Just sick right? > has to be forbidden

i hate sev's.
i was given loads free plus some other crappy fish and i stuck them in my main tank when i had my green aro,gar and rays etc.
the big fish eat most of them except the sev's which stayed behind my filter for ages so when i set up another 18 tanks i used them to cycle the tanks.
there still alive and to date had killed some of my fish i lost a 7'' juruence and a 4'' wild silver aro to the little twats as they were the only fish i could house them with they bullied them to death in one night.
i have been using some as dithers for my p-bass and my apurensis eat one of the sev's the other day.
they take a lot of crap i will give them that but i have another 20 or so tanks to set up so i need them for a bit anyway.
they serve there purpose.
