Least Favorite Fish

I dislike parrots, man-made hybrids, and any fish that is either dyed or "tattooed."

In my opionion, there are so many more interesting and more beautiful naturally occuring fish...why would anyone look elsewhere? Guess I'm just a purist.

hardly so! alot of the pimelodids are active suckers.

but if I had to choose, i would say...

they are pretty but every time i bought p's they dont do any thing
they float around and to see them eat u have to hide

My same experience.

Personally, I would probably have to do a totally aquascaped "Amazon" bio-tope tank setup, w/ a good-sized shoal of P's (Pygos) to enjoy keeping Pirahnas. : With that 'visual' in mind, is what gives me a totally different perspective of 'P' keeping. Perhaps, someday i will?!!

It's all that dumb "Media hype" about P's being "savage beasts"... totally exaggerated, and outta hand!

Like in that STUPID video/documentary, "Wolves In The Water"...when that one Old President dude went to the Amazon and fed the pirahnas "Cow Drumsticks" (or whatever they were?) TOTALLY BLew it OUT of PROPORTION, w/ that speech he said?!! STUPID people Beleive it too!!

But, yeah,,, P's, especially @t young ages... merely just scared skittish tetras w/ some sharp chompers... they don't even know what they're capable of doing when their young?!! But they still cool "Monster" fishes tho!

Any dedicated fish hobbyist has had to keep P's, at least once at one time?!!

Me, personally have kept P's 3 times in the past! Damn fish, all ate each other!! Lost 30+ reds in about a week 1/2!

All my ferrets did was destroy my ex's guinea pig.

Man that was so gross.

Goldfish are a lot smaller than G.pigs, my pair of ladies justtoss them around a bit them my cat eats them
