For me I can't stand 110 gallon tanks that are 48x18x30. I've owned a few of them and pretty much everything about them I don't like. So let's hear it, what is your least favorite tank size?

Anything that's not a monster tank
What's your idea of "monster"? 800ltr? 1200ltr? 5000ltr?

I can't stand the size of my 5' and small 4', I want to flip them on their side to make them "normal" the 5' one is 5'L, 17"W and 21"H, and the 4' is just a mini version of the 5'.. I don't like tanks that are taller than they are wide, I think they're silly and somewhat impractical. Most fish (that I can think of) would rather the width over hight any day.

Post Script: before someone comes in with a "this fish would rather hight over width" I said MOST of the fish - most meaning most, not all. :)

I don't like awkward tank shapes, I.e. rectangular but overly high tanks; they just look dumpy.

Anything that looks sleek or stylish is preferred, whether cube or long. Don't really go for anything in between.

Monster tanks I like the 8' x 4' x 2'

Just like you I don't really like tall tanks.. Many people selling 8' x 1.5' -2' W and 4'H, it's just looks very weird imo :P

4' high and only 2' wide??? That would look ridiculous imo

I like all tanks, just a matter of finding the right fish to put in them. If I have to pick my least favorite size it is the standard 55g because of the 12" width. If you are going to commit 4' to a tank a 75g offers so many more options for stocking. My biggest pet peeve is that it is so hard to find tanks that have a 24" or greater width.

I actually like the look of upright tanks but their limited surface /footprint for larger species and that you nearly need to go swimming to get to bottom makes them a PITA
