State of chaos
Title says all. I'm having them spray the Anole once a day and turn off all the heat lamps at night and on again in the morning, but what should be done for the Leo? I'm gonna buy as many mealworms as possible and put them in the mealworm dish with some apple shaving so they don't die. And I'll probably put some crickets as well just in case. And I'm gonna leave some bottles of dechlor'd water around so the water can be re-filled if it evaporates. Should I have the Leo sprayed at all? Anything else?

a moist hide? also depends on ure temp and other factors , just needs food, proper temps and water.

You can also turn down the heat. That will lower the leopard gecko's metabolism and it won't need to eat. They can easily go weeks without any food. Just make sure it has water.

Water is important. Before you leave, go fatten the guy up and you can reduce the heat, but leave it in acceptable levels.

I just gave mine a large water bowl that wouldn't evaporate, and I filled three dishes for mealworms. Every 3 days, the sitter replaced the mealie dish, and they did fine

All good advice. I would not leave crix in, especially if you go the lower temps route (which is probably smart). Live crix unsupervised + inactive leo = problems.

Hmm... I'd rather not rely solely on the heat pad, as it's not all that reliable. Maybe I'll just buy 10 portions of mealworms and leave them in...

ive left mine for atleast 2 weeks every summer when we go on vacation and he does absolutely fine as long as you have someone come in and make sure he has water he will do fine.

think about it they live in deserts they no doubt go for several weeks on ocassion without food.

I agree water is very important but also meal worm sometime they can hide in sand so the leopard will find them and eat them
