LED lighting review

Has anyone removed the legs of the light and placed the lights directly on the glass? It says its ok to do but just wondering if anyone run their lights this way?

True. Just that where i always sit on the couch viewing the tank, the underneath of the LEDs are exposed and its almost blinding when you look at it...haha
 
Just wanted to add a pic of my 55 gal growout tank with the LEDs. Looking at the other pics makes me realize i really need to clean my 225!

I run mine right on the glass.....i might be selling my Doublebright when I get the rest of my lights Monday!! No problems at all on the glass....no scratches at all after two months....

I started running mine on my acrlyic tops. Len's dont touch them. No issues at all.
 
You could put felt strips on the bottom so the lens doesn't touch but the leds only shine in the tank. Home Depot and walmart sell it.
