Danger, what is the height of your water column from the substrate up?

about 20-22", it's a 72 bowfront with the lights about 1" above the glass.

I'm running six 10w's on my 72g low light planted tank. I should know in a few weeks how the lights do for the plants. He's a crappy phone pic of the plants after 2 weeks under the leds. I'll post another in a month. It was running 72w of T8.

I'ts been about a month, here is an updated pic. I had a video but can't upload it from my phone. There has been significant growth; more in the past month than the 2 prior months. I've noticed less algea in all my tanks.

Looking good. My water depth is the same as yours, with 4x20 watt units and 1x10 watt unit over 6'.
Hopefully all the plants do well. I just start dosing Excel a few days ago.
All the new bulbs I added are sprouting well. We'll see if they get rnough light to grow to their full potential.

I did add root tabs to the sword when I first planted it to help it get going. But only that one time.

I have a 210 with two Marineland Double Bright LED fixtures. I really like them, but want to add a little extra light. Would you recommend getting a 10, 20, or 30? I guess with that website you need to buy two. That kind of stinks. Unless I should get two?

you can get then on ebay and only buy one. The biggest issue you will have adding these is even dispersement of the light. The only way one of these lights will cover the tank is if it's way above the water line. Otherwise it will create a hot spot.

Do you think a 20 would be enough? I mean I will probably put it directly on the surface like JamesF did. I already have coverage pretty well over the whole tank with my two Marineland Double Brite LEDs. I just want to add some additional lighting.
