i think that is the guy i got mine from, 6 bucks is what i payed. it should have 20 leds and 20 resistors with it. then you need a 12 v adapter, you can pick that up at radio shack or any other place of the sort. many adapters come with a plug of your choice, doesnt matter, you are cutting that off anyways. the only other thing you need is wire, how ever many feet you want the lights to stretch. Take your resistors and soldier one on each of the positive sides of the led, the led has 2 wires coming out, one positive one negative, the positive is the longer one. once you have a resistor attached to each led, take 2 lengths of the wire you need, one of them is gonna be positive, one will be negative, preferably get different color wire so you dont mess this up. lay them out so they are parallel to eachother. you are gonna go along and strip parts of the wire where you want an LED, you can gut the wire, strip it, soldier it to the led, or you can just strip away the wire casing with out cutting the wire. but you want all the negative ends of the LEDS in a line all attached to the negative wire, then take the other end of the resistor that is attached to the led positive, and do the same as you did with the negative. essentially you get a bunch of leds lined up with 2 wires running down the whole line. ========== each gap there represents where an led would be. then wire up the positive to the positive end of the 12v adapter, and negative to negative and turn it on, before you do that i recommend either taping up all connections so no bare wire touches, or use a hot glue gun and seal all the connections. if any of that didnt make sense, ill post some pics.

Ok, i got some pics of me attaching a led to the wire how you need to. First off, this is an LED

this is the resistor

and here is your wiring

now wrap the resistor (either end) around the positive end of the led, should look like this, then soldier.
P1010123.jpg

now strip a spot on the positive wire and a in the same spot on the negative wire like this
P1010117.jpg

now attach the remaining end of the reisistor to the bare positive wire like so
P1010118.jpg

no the negative end of the LED to the negative wire

repeat that for the rest of the leds, i did 20 leds all in a line off the same 12v adapter with no problem, i did a group of 3 leds, then spaced a bit, then a group of 3 again.

i know, kinda getto way of doing it, but it works, its cheap, and it looks awesome in the tank. just to be safe you want to soldier all connections, and cover all bare metal.

usually all I see when I sleep is the back of my eylids... when I wake I see my cats butt. Thats exactly what I needed. I'm going to do it this paycheck.
