LED Lights on Cichla?

Anyone have LEDs on pbass? I was thinking about getting some but I did not know what type of affect they have on the bass.

No ya know i think they would look great tho love the shimmer ya get from Leds..I do have the LED moon lights on my tanks tho kinda like a night light...

I was going for the shimmer affect. I love that when it looks like moon light going through the water. I figured it would make for some cool pictures.

The shimmer is cool, but you will lose some color on the fish by going with LEDs. LEDs simply don't have the spectrum output that fluorescents have, something to do with the phosphors.
