LED Pendants?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I bought this from Ebay, at very good price.

Another one I bought is submersible tube that I tied with fish line in the front rim to provide front light. It is dimmer but provides front lighting.

All my tanks are lighted with cheap China made LED from Ebay. I have no problem with any of them, and the oldest ones are 3 years old, still shining.

my beamsworks are rock solid, it was the individual red/blue bulbs that did not last more than a year or two

I was looking for a fixed point LED (like the PAR38) to get the shimmer effect. I have a 4 bulb T5 fixture made for hydroponics over my main tank now, but it doesn't have that pop I am looking for.

The water should shimmer as long as the surface is moving.

They are expensive! It's seems like all the pendant lighting is for growing plants or coral. I don't need that. I just want a dimmable light that I can adjust the color to my liking. I think the light companies are forgetting that customer.
