Well hear it goes, i have a 400 gallon tank that is ten feet long and all the fish stay to the right hand half of the tank. I have tested the temp at both ends of the tank and they are the same , flow is also the sa

me . I have a gt, jag ,oscar, festae ,severum and 2 tin barbs and thay all stay about 90% of the time at the right side . All the water perams are good , i am running 2 fx5 and a 60 gallon sump .

So i gess i am saying that i need a left side fish !!!!!!

If they are new to the tank it will take a while to settle down and spread out, it could also be the output from the FX5's

less motion or light on the side they're on?
closer to cover?
is that the side you usually dump in the food?

Is the tank bare or do you have decorations? The more decor you have and spread out the more safe the fish will feel. My 50 has two massive peices of bogwood in the middle and fake sword plants on both sides plus some in the center. None of the fish hide. When it was bare they would congregate like your fish are doing.
