What do you do with leftovers? My wifes rhom eats from the tail forward, usually taking 2-3 days to get far enough for the feeder to die. Should i leave the dead ones for him to finish off? ive been removing the dead ones so far.
Heres where he usually stop...this one is still alive

LOL Thats funny to me :D
Well , I would buy smaller feeders . I also would not want to wast that so
take it out and cut it up and fridge it and feed some every day till gone .
And.......... Can we get a pic of the rohm plz .

(Yes take that out )

They should come out. If you leave it in there it will mess with your water quality real fast.

any food stay in the tank more then 30min is not good. it will mess up your water parameter.

jeez! get a pic of the culprit!

my serras do the same thing to live feeders. but silversides get completely eaten.i'd steer away from goldfish and rosey reds, due to parasites(unless you quarantine them for a week or 2. and due to the fact that cyprinid fish are deficient in thyamine. try to switch him to tilapia, shrimp etc. he'll eat it it just might take a few tries before he'll accept it.
