this kind of thread has already been started but i just cant find it.... i want another aro but im not sure what all i can own in the u.s. legally, does anyone know where i can find a list of all the available aros (legally) :feedback:

I keep hearing people talk bout austrailian, or African Aros. Im pretty sure Jardini's are austrailian.

You forgot African Arowanas. Very sensitive when juvies but they are magnificent, almost arapaima like at large sizes.
 
someone should start a thread about this again, finish it quick then sticky it.
 
So we've established:

All Asian Aros are illegal in the U.S. generally for fishkeepers.

Legal ones are:

South American: Silver, Black, and Arapaima if you want to count it

Australian: Jardini and Leichardti

and African
