Legality of Fly River Turtles

hmmm... gota feel sorry for the poor turtles... but if they are already in your country its a bit late to worry, next thing to worry about is they get a good home! if you can provide a good home for one, have the money to buy, feed and keep one, then its not such a bad thing.... in the uk they are illegal to import as i understand. but they are legal if already in country... knowing the general couldn't careless attitude of money hungry lps owners, i think its definitely on the morals of us to see these turtles get the best possible homes!

You got a link to them being illegal too import, I didn't know this was the case? Also I hate to say it, but they will be continued to sell for as long as they can make money off them... so that attitude doesn't really help (if that is your intent), because you buy one, they'll get another in. Demand isn't it...
