i am just so angry that the people who did bad things with snakeheads have to get punished with us all

in other words why do we have to get punished for their doing

We already have seen what they can do so why would we leagalize them? It just doesn't make any sense why people would even think about leagalizing them

I say leagalize'em but make consumers accountable for them, Hell, you might even want to do the same thing for Pirahna sp. in cali. while your at it.

The main arrgument is that because of the realese of 1 of the 29 species of Channa all have been banned the northern and the giant snakehead have great potential to damage the Ecosstem and this is being seen as we type but for the other 27 species of snakehead they pose no more of a threat then cichlids do which in many states is 0 like my state

So what i'm trying to say is alot of people lable all snakeheads as one fish and they all have the same potential to damage the Ecosystem which is far from true

So mabye some species should be banned or made illegal in certain states but we shoulnd't ban all snakeheads together

you should get someone to do with politics involved and also get a few ppl like that guy who studies argus on the potomac behind you
i hate to be blunt but running a poll on a forum is a waste of time

get your facts right and present your case
unless your case is solid you don't stand a chance and nobody will ant to listen to you

most channa will not survive your climate in the northen states
most argus will not survive, you just got unlucky ending up with the subspecies that can (and i wish i could get that species over here)

with southern states were it is warmer its a different matter

i would suggest microshipping
that way they be more expensive but anyone serious about channa will not mind that much

just a few thoughts

:screwy:i ran this poll just to see different peoples answers

it kinda is funny to hear some of the stories:popcorn:

i think it could happen if they give people permits and make people check on t the snakehead like twice a year
