true, but there still has to be a reason why they are so expensive and protected. the supply of the asian aro would probably not be able to keep up with the demand of them. hence the reason why they are so expensive and protected.... to limit the amount of them that are sold to the public. unfortunately they are limited to the rich (or people who have money to burn) and to the people who live outside of the US. there are so many things above and beyond a normal hobbyist that we can not control. we as hobbyist can do so much, but i rather wait for an abundent supply of asian aros and get mine over seeing them completely gone. just my 2 cents.

its USA right? freedom to do a lot of stuff? just presure the guy thats running next year wanting the vote and tell him to legalize importation of a pet. but of course they prob wouldn't keep that promise because that much money going out of the USA to asian countries with the current US economic downturn isn't wish for political reasons. A red would prob cost USD $3000 even if its legalized. so you think the government will let residence to let out that much money into other countries for fish? EACH fish?
