Legends In the Cichlid Realm

Oliver Lucanis, Rusty Wessel, Jeff Rapps, Heikko Bleiher, Vin Kutty...Among others.. These are legends. Not just big fish in a small pond. MFK is not the final word in cichlid keeping by a longshot.
Ok course no one knows everything but the thread was set up for the purpose of Cichlids keepers or hobbyist that have had a fish that is Legendary or made an impact in the hobby community of region. Its not meant to be that we purposely missed someone or this person opinion on a member on either less or more. Its just contributing with something impact ful to each person. Anyhow great you mentioned these people and if there legends to you good for you they've made a mark...Many of us know of them
but its not meant to be a slight if some one was missed..that's the purpose of the thread.

As far as impact on the hobby (at least on this region) Umbeeking's Wild Caught Festae pair is worthy.
So what happened to all these Beani?? Are there any left out there?

There are only two fish that I have seen images or video of that have made me want to purchase a particular fish. "The General" got me wanting an umbee, and Hulk made me want hogas. There are so many beautiful fish that I simply will not ever be able to keep them all...at once that is 
. All these great fish shown so far in this thread is a true testament to how great of fishkeepers we have in this hobby and on this forum...keep it up everyone. There are a few people that are an inspiration to me(you know who you are...i hope).
