What does the dragon scale trait entail? Sounds like a marketing gimmick, but I know dragon scale guppies have a huge row of giant scales behind the head.

i found this article to explain pretty good. its basically the shiny, plated scales that kinda resembles that of a dragon. but im certain their is much more to it.

dragon scale means the betta has enlarged mettalic scales on its sides. they where originally bred to be tougher fighting bettas. pretty cool looking fish especially if you find them with good colors.
