A 6x2x4 is overdoing it a bit for upstairs. I'd go lungfish and make the tank a bit smaller.

6 by 2 by 4's fine upstairs...

So how did you know his bedroom was upstairs?? :WHOA::WHOA::WHOA:

my bedroom is upstairs, iam thinking about reinforce the floor.

king edward do you have big tank upstairs on wooden floors.

That good news that i can have a l.pictus in 6ft x 2ft x 4ft tank and i might just buy a big , if that the only ones for sale when i get my tank. i do know that is tow for sale in the uk , thanks again , do anybody know what tankmates they cna go with, thanks.

why are you making it 4ft tall? make it 4ft wide then you'll be able to displace more of the weight, and it opens up your options for fish. 4ft tall is going to be ridulous to clean.
