Here are some recent shots of my leichardti in his pond.

He just survived his second winter and is going strong.

I am thinking about throwing my two AUL in the pond over spring and summer to see if I can get them up to real monster size :D

The blue tank pictured is supposed to be his new home...but it leaks >_< :irked:

I need to find some time to fix it.

The lowest the temp gets is around -2 degrees celcius. 28.4 degrees Fahrenheit? I don't think its that cold compared to your winters?

There is no way he can jump out. The custom net cover ensures that :D

wow he survived in 28.4 degrees water?

Thanks guys :)

The lei is 30 inch.

No Way! That is below freezing, he must have been a fish popsicle!!!

Sorry guys...there is a bit of confusion.

The water temp does not reach -2 degrees. That is just the air temperature.

I never actually measured the water temp so I am unsure as to what it was. I do not heat the water though.
